Twisted to be Broadcast in January
Audiences Around the Country Preview Film at Public Screenings
Independent Television Services (ITVS) and PBS television have announced that the dystonia documentary Twisted will be nationally broadcast in January 2007 on the PBS program Independent Lens. Check your local listings for the exact date and time that the film will air in your community.
Twisted is a movie by Blind Dogs Films (http://www.blinddogfilms.com).
In the meantime until the broadcast date, the DMRF is partnering with filmmaker Laurel Chiten to build an audience for the national broadcast and to use the film to educate communities. Screenings of the film are being been held around the country.
Audiences have responded to the film with overwhelming praise. Junior Advisory Council member Marcie Povitsky commented, “Twisted is an amazing documentary that truly captures what it’s like to live and deal with dystonia.”
Mark your calendar for the national broadcast and consider attending a Twisted screening near you!
