Residency Program

The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF) sponsors a program for second and third year residents interested in movement disorders with a focus on dystonia. The opportunity is offered for residents to be full-time "visiting trainees," experiencing broad research and clinical exposure for a 4- to 6-week time period with one of several experts in their respective institutions.

The DMRF will reimburse the expenses of the resident up to $4,000 which is paid through the resident's institution after the completion of the elective.

Applicants should be prepared to complete an application and submit it along with curriculum vitae and a letter of recommendation from a chair of the applicable department, such as neurology, neurosurgery, and psychiatry.

For more information, contact the DMRF at 800-377-DYST (3978) or email dystonia@dystonia-foundation.org
