Photographer Donates Proceeds to DMRF
Michael Sparks was
diagnosed with segmental dystonia in 2006. He is now graciously donating a
percentage of proceeds from his photography sales to dystonia research.
"After seeing how Sondra Cook was working to
support people with dystonia through the Denver Support Group I felt compelled
to do something as well," says Michael. "I would really like more
research and funds to be raised for dystonia. I want to encourage others to
join the mission of supporting DMRF through the use of their arts and
skills. It is time for people with dystonia to step up and be heard, and
this is my venue for doing this"
He setup a website for two purposes:
1. To raise money for dystonia research by donating a percentage of each sale
to the DMRF
2. To raise awareness for dystonia among people searching the web for
photography
