Upcoming Dogs4Dystonia Dog Walks:
- Sunday, October 20: Dogs4Dystonia Walk-A-Thon - "Howl-O-Ween" (Woodland Hills, CA) - Jan Rogoff
Dogs are faithful friends, always there without question. For many individuals with dystonia, dogs offer the unconditional support they need to cope with the daily challenges of living with the disorder. Assistance dog can provide increased independence as well as companionship.
Dogs4Dystonia is a program of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation. Volunteers around the country partner with the DMRF to organize charity dog walks to promote dystonia awareness and raise funds in support of the DMRF mission.
Dogs4Dystonia Dog Walks bring family, friends, and the community together for a fun event in support of an important cause. Dogs4Dystonia Dog Walks may include a designated walking route, raffles, contests, and/or presentations by area veterinarians, groomers, and animal agencies.
Whether you are a dog owner, a dog lover, or someone who just wants to do something on behalf of the dystonia community, the Dogs4Dystonia Dog Walks may be right up your alley.
