DMRF Honors Congressman Walsh

The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF) honored Congressman Jim Walsh with a 2008 Distinguished Public Service Award on April 30, 2008. Congressman Walsh was recognized for his leadership and continued support of the dystonia community.




Pictured here with Vice President Rosalie Lewis, Congressman Walsh was honored as part of annual Dystonia Advocacy Day. Volunteers from around the country gathered in Washington, DC to meet with Congressional staff and educate policymakers on dystonia and the needs of the dystonia community.
