Dystonia Medical Research Foundation Canada
The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation Canada (DMRFC) is a non-profit health organization founded in 1976 by Samuel and Frances Belzberg of Vancouver, British Columbia. The Foundation’s headquarters resides in Chicago, Illinois, with the Canadian office located in Toronto, serving as its sister organization in supporting all dystonia-affected Canadian individuals and their families. They share the same mission in advancing dystonia research for more effective treatments and ultimately a cure as well as promoting awareness and education in Canada.
The Board of Directors of DMRFC makes all decisions concerning the disbursement of funds in connection with research projects based on recommendations of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Council which provides advice to both the Canadian and US Foundations. DMRFC is a registered charity, and its registration number is 12661 6598 RR0001.
