Becky's Blog: Already Taking After Her Parents
About a month and a half ago we found out that we were having a little girl and we couldn’t have been more excited. We got to see her on the sonogram and it was amazing. We could hardly peal our eyes off the screen. We saw her whole body in great detail and the best news of all was that she was perfectly healthy. We had already discussed names, so it just took us a couple of hours to come to a final decision and named her Eleanor Jane Kuk. We will call her Ellie. Both of our families are just thrilled with everything and love to hear any news we have about Ellie.
She’s a very active little girl and seems to be moving around and kicking all the time. Both John and I do Tae Kwon Do. John’s a third degree black belt and I took the first part of my black belt test right before we did the PGD/IVF, so I will get my black belt after one more test. Anyway, we think that Ellie will be taking after both of us because she is already practicing her kicks and punches and has even done a quite a few combos! I just wonder when she sleeps because it certainly isn’t while I am sleeping. It seems like every time I wake up at night she is moving around!
