Catching Up with the Stars of Twisted: From the Dystonia Dialogue

Every person who has been diagnosed with dystonia deals with their movement disorder in their own way. Despite consistent trends and similarities in the pain, suffering, and response to the many treatments available today, having dystonia symptoms is an experience that is both extremely personal and intrinsically unique. When independent filmmaker Laurel Chiten set out to explain dystonia in a documentary movie, she did so in a series of weaving story threads about a set of individuals and their struggles.  Never did she think that her 2006 award-winning film "Twisted" would turn out so compelling and extraordinary.
