ATTENTION DYSTONIA INVESTIGATORS
2010 Solicitation for Research Support from DOD

For fiscal year (FY) 2010 dystonia has been identified as a condition eligible for support through the Department of Defense (DOD) Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program's grant funding mechanisms.

The DOD conducts medical research through a Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP). The CDMRP includes a Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) that only funds research into conditions on an annual list which deems them eligible for study. The DMRF learned in late December that for FY 2010, dystonia has been included on the eligible conditions list and dystonia researchers are now eligible to apply for support through the PRMRP.

The PRMRP traditionally releases its grant notices in the middle of the year. However, this year they are being released much earlier than usual and four award mechanisms are currently open for submissions:
